because WALLIES® are vinyl coated, but some people like the
extra glossy look.

a) Teddy Bear Shade

12080 Precious Bear
Take a white
or pale colored lampshade and paint a 1/2 inch, or so, blue stripe
around bottom rim. Don't worry about getting your lines perfectly
straight: uneven lines have character! Paint a smaller red stripe
above the blue using the blue edge as a guide. Repeat the stripes
for top. We have reversed the order, using a small red stripe
first then a larger blue stripe below it. Use Precious Bear
WALLIES® for around the middle of the shade.
b)
Romantic Shade

12106
Kate's Pink Rose
Paint lampshade
with light green acrylic paint. Paint crackle medium over light
green paint. Paint dark green over the crackle medium and let
dry. Once this third layer dries, your crackle finish will appear.
Follow directions on the crackle finish packaging. Use Kate's
Pink Rose WALLIES® and just wet the back and put them
on!
c)
Pansy Shade
12014 Purple Pansy
Paint the
entire shade with chartreuse if you are looking for a bright
bunch of colors! For a softer feel, pale lavender looks very
pretty
too . Paint top and bottom rim with a rich dark purple. Use Purple
Pansy WALLIES® around the bottom part of the shade, overlapping
them a little. Make random white polka dots above pansies.
d)
Clouds Shade
12003
Large Clouds

12002
Medium Clouds
Paint entire
shade a pale blue. Place Clouds WALLIES® in a pattern
around shade.
e)
Smiles Shade
12111
Retro Smile
We covered
this shade with a purple tissue paper using decoupage glue under
and over the paper. It gives it a great feel, but if your looking
to make a quicker and easier shade just paint the entire shade
dark purple.
f)
Buzzing Bee Shade
12098
Bees and Skep
Paint entire
shade black. Use Bee WALLIES® from the Bees & Skep
WALLIES® package. Place the bees randomly around the shade.
For the buzzing bee travel lines, use a fine paint brush and
paint
a curly-cue dotted line with gold paint between each bee.
