ESTIMATED TIME

This really depends on the size of your room. Approximately 2 hours for a 10' x 10' room.

Why not give the gift of redecorating a friend or relative's room? Let you friend pick out her favorite WALLIES® design and you can take it from there!

Apply a base coat of ivory latex paint on the wall to be decorated. Let dry.

Measure and mark your wall every 8" with a vertical line (use a pencil lightly or a pink colored pencil).

Using the rose pink paint, create a color wash by diluting the paint half and half with water.

Remember that the more water you add to the paint, the lighter the color will be on the wall. Expect the paint to be "watery."

Dip the 4" brush in the pink wash and wipe the sides of the brush against the edge of your paint tray to remove any excess paint.

Using your pencil line as a guide, paint a stripe from the top to the bottom of your wall. Don't be fussy here - because you are using a wash, any irregularities in your pink stripe will look great! Repeat making stripes around your room. Let dry.

Using green paint and a small brush, paint "squiggly" lines down the center of each pink stripe. Let dry.

Apply Dusty Rose WALLIES® Cutouts on the pink stripes and Dusty Rose Leaf WALLIES® Cutouts on the remaining white stripes.
